She showed us multiple homes prior to finding the perfect house for our family, some on very short notice. She was patient and listened to what we were looking for in our new home. I got to know Kathy when I first visited here with my husband for his second job interview. Kathy took me look around the city and told me how wonderful the city is. I knew many things of Iowa City from her, such as the weather, housing, living, shopping, and schools. From her words, I can feel how much she likes here and that makes me more confident to move here. She showed me many houses that time even though she knew whether I will move here or not. She is so patient, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. I remembered the first day, she showed me many ranches as I asked. But after seeing all the ranches, I changed my mind to two-level house. I felt so bad wasting her time. But she didn’t complain a single word, just put together another two-story list to let me look through, rearranged showing, and took me to see the houses next day.
After I decided to buy an under-construction new house, Kathy helped me gather the pictures of all the options and sent them to me by tons of emails to let me choose. That is a huge amount of work but she was very patient and gave me many helpful advices. Every time people come to my house saying “How beautiful your floors are” I will think of Kathy, she strongly suggested me to update the floor to the real wood one. Now I am so glad I listened to her.
Also, after I moved in, Kathy's job is over but she still cares if there is anything I may concern and negotiated with the builder to fix the small things I concerned.
I would say I am really lucky to meet Kathy, she helped me buy my ideal home. I will definitely recommend her and will ask her help again when I sell my house.

Kathy was phenomenal to work with throughout the home buying process! We met her at an open house and we really liked how she was knowledgable about all aspects of home ownership. She was willing to have frank conversations about a house and point out things we never even would have looked for. She spent six months with us looking for a home and had all the patience in the world. We made seven separate offers throughout our time together. As first-time homebuyers she walked us through all the paperwork and made sure we understood all the legal jargon. She even helped us understand some of our financing when the bank was unable to explain it in a way we understood. Kathy really made us feel like we were the most important people she was dealing with. That was very important to us. Also, she was always quick to respond to a phone call, text message, or email. She was willing to look at any house we found, and she continually found houses for us to look at. With Kathy it never felt like she was trying to sell us a property, but rather that she was helping us find a home. We HIGHLY recommend Kathy.
